Privacy policy

In force since 19 September 2026.

Data controller: Jose Pedro Franco Moreno (trading as Juice Studio), a sole trader in Spain. Contact: hola@juice-studio.com.

1. In short

7ODAY doesn’t ask you for an account or an email. What you write is stored on your iPhone, and the text of your tasks is never sent to anyone: not to us and not to our tools.

To improve the app we measure how it’s used: which screens are opened, how many tasks are created or completed, and whether buying Premium works. That data goes to PostHog, on servers in the European Union, tied to a random identifier and without your name or email (section 4).

There’s no advertising identifier and no tracking across apps, and we don’t sell or share data with anyone.

2. What’s stored, and where

  • On your device: the tasks you write, the day you put them on, whether they’re done and the record of what you’ve completed. None of it leaves your iPhone unless you turn on sync (section 3).
  • Preferences: the app’s settings (such as whether you turned on the daily reminder or the weekly reset) are stored on your device.
  • Purchases (RevenueCat): if you buy Premium, RevenueCat processes your App Store transaction, your purchase status, an anonymous identifier and basic device and country data, in order to activate and restore your plan. It doesn’t receive your name or your email. Payment is handled by Apple: we never see your card details.

3. iCloud sync (Premium)

If you turn sync on, your tasks are stored in your own iCloud account, in the private database Apple reserves for you, so they show up on your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

There’s no server of ours in between. We can’t see, read or recover that data: it lives in your iCloud and is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. If you don’t turn sync on, your tasks never leave the device.

4. Usage measurement (PostHog)

The app sends PostHog (PostHog Inc., with the data hosted in Frankfurt, Germany) information about how it’s used, so we know which features help, which don’t, and where people drop off before buying Premium. This is what’s sent:

  • What you do and when: opening the app, opening a day, creating, completing, reopening or deleting a task, opening Settings or the purchase screen, changing a setting, and the result of a purchase (plan, price and currency).
  • Numbers, never content: how many tasks you have pending, how many days from today a task falls, how many widgets you’ve placed and which features you have on. The title of a task never leaves your device.
  • Technical data: device model, system version, language, time zone and app version.
  • A random identifier for this installation, the same one RevenueCat uses, to link usage with purchase status. It isn’t your name, your email or the advertising identifier.
  • The country of your App Store account (for example, Spain), to see purchases by country. PostHog doesn’t store your IP address or work out where you are.

Your screen isn’t recorded and what you type isn’t logged. This data isn’t used for advertising and isn’t combined with data from other companies.

5. What 7ODAY doesn’t do

  • There’s no sign-up and no user account.
  • The advertising identifier isn’t used and you’re never shown iOS’s tracking prompt: we don’t track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • Your screen isn’t recorded and the text of your tasks isn’t sent anywhere.
  • No data is sold or shared with anyone.

6. Legal bases (EEA and UK)

Purchases and restoring them: performance of the contract. Sync happens in your own iCloud account at your request. Usage measurement: our legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the app work so we can improve it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time (section 8).

7. Retention

What’s on the device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. What’s in your iCloud is controlled by you, from your device’s iCloud settings. Purchase data is kept by RevenueCat for as long as needed to manage your licence. Usage data is kept in PostHog for up to one year.

8. Your rights

Your tasks aren’t on any system of ours: deleting the app (or turning sync off and deleting the iCloud data) removes them. Usage data is tied to a random identifier, not to your identity; once you uninstall the app, that installation stops sending anything.

To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability or objection, write to hola@juice-studio.com. As we don’t know who you are, we may need your help to find the data from your installation. In the EEA you can also complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

9. Children

7ODAY isn’t aimed at children under 16 and we don’t knowingly collect their data. As there’s no sign-up, we don’t ask for your age either.

10. This website

This site is a set of static pages. It uses no cookies, carries no analytics and loads nothing from third-party servers: the fonts and images are served from this same domain.

The only things stored in your browser are two preferences of yours: light or dark theme, and whether you’ve already picked a language. They’re saved only when you use those controls, they stay on your machine and they’re cleared when you clear the site’s data.

Links to the App Store carry a campaign identifier so Apple can tell us how many downloads come from here. Apple gives us that figure in aggregate: we receive no information about individual people.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will publish the new version here with a new effective date.
